How I look after the details you share with me. Last updated October 2026.
Who I am
This website is run by Pip Hambling Ltd, trading as Pip Hambling Photography. Registered in England and Wales, company number 15240928. Registered office: 31 Bezant Place, Newquay, Cornwall TR7 1SJ.
I’m responsible for any personal information you give me. If you have a question about it, email hello@piphambling.com.
What I collect
- 01What you send through the contact form: your name, email, project location, timing and message
- 02What you tell me by email, phone or message when we talk about a project
- 03Details I need to quote, book and invoice a shoot, such as billing name and address
- 04Anonymous information about how people use this website, collected by Squarespace through cookies
How I use it
To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote. To plan, deliver and invoice your shoot. To keep the business records the law requires. And to understand how the website is used, so I can improve it.
I don’t sell your details, and I won’t add you to a mailing list.
Who sees it
Only the people who help me run the business, and only what they need: Squarespace, which hosts this website and its forms; my email provider; my accountant; and, if you book, the associate photographer or stylist working on your shoot.
Squarespace is based in the United States. It protects personal information sent there with the safeguards UK law requires.
How long I keep it
If an enquiry doesn’t go ahead, I delete your details within two years. If you book a shoot, I keep project and invoice records for six years, as HMRC requires.
Photographs
If you or your family appear in photographs from a shoot, I’ll ask before using those images in my portfolio or on social media.
Cookies
This website uses cookies that Squarespace needs to run the site, and analytics cookies if you allow them. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of the page.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or ask me to stop using it. Just email hello@piphambling.com and I’ll reply within a month.
If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
